Kawerau River in Autumn - Commissioned painting

Timon Maxey 0 1994

I completed this painting a couple of weeks ago and sent it off to the client, Irmgard Metzger, in Germany. She had recently visited New Zealand and was particularly taken with the incredible landscapes and desired a pictorial reminder! I painted this on loose linen so that it could be framed behind glass.
