I have been commissioned to paint a large panorama of Lake Waikaremoana from Panekiri Bluff. The client has a bach at Onepoto, a little village in the bush by the lake. 300 illustrations for NZCER!

I am working on 300 colour illustrations for the New Zealand Council of Educational Research. They are to be used in a new manual for assessing numeracy and literacy skills. So far I have completed about 100 of these - it is a huge job, and I'm really enjoying it. It means I have little time for anything else at present! I have attached a couple of examples.

These graphics consist of about 50 black and white illustrations, diagrams and graphs, drawn both by hand and on computer. My ten years experience producing educational graphics for the Correspondence School has lead to NZCER regularly contracting me for such jobs. Here are a couple of examples.

Art marketing in New York and Dubai

In Mid August, I am off to kayak the Grand Canyon. After this, I will go to both New York and Dubai with a selection of my art and try to find galleries to represent me there. If anyone has any knowledge of galleries in either place that may be interested in my work, then I'd really appreciate your input. I have somewhere to stay in Dubai, but not in New York. Can anyone suggest cheap central NY accommodation?
